Turning Point

Hag. 2:6-7
6 For thus saith
the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the
heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;
7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I
will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of
hosts.
The year 2,000 will be a great turning point
in the history of man. Although there will be new breakthroughs, and scientific
knowledge will continue to increase, the turning point will not be in technology.
The great turning point will largely go unnoticed by the general public.
There will be a great famine of the word. The
churches, which have failed to be obedient to Christ, will experience what
appears to be a great re-awakening. They will increase in membership and
proclaim a second major reformation.
Those who have based their faith on escapism
will turn away from the faith. That does not mean that they will leave what now
is considered Christianity.
Those who have made their living preaching escapism
(the pre-antichrist wolves) will push the date back to a more convenient time,
to a time when they think that they will not be alive. They will fade from
prominence. Those who hang on to escapism will fall into disrepute.
The second wave of pre-antichrist wolves will
come to feed on what is assumed to be the flock of Christ. They will cause much
havoc. A great darkness will descent over the earth as diversity becomes
license. The first set of pretenders will fade as the new set becomes great.
Satan will give up his own to try to gain what is Christ's.
The new millennium will be the beginning of
the final falling away. 2,000 will begin an era of great spiritual pollution.
Prophecy will be fulfilled as nation shall
rise against nation. The nation of the antichrist will rise against the nation
of Christ.
The churches and denominations that disobey
Christ will increase in pride. Those who increase in pride will proclaim that
they did not fall into the pit of deception. They will offer help to the wounded
only to ravage them.
The Church of the living Christ will grow
strong spiritually, but they will appear to be weak and helpless. The false
church will appear to grow, but will be spiritually decimated. Those aligned
against Christ shall become great centers of false evangelism.
Those who have built great cathedrals will
again dominate the world of religion. Salvation by works will be the center of
the new revival.
The spiritually ignorant will flock to new
and exotic speakers of lies. However, the Word of God will be held in the
hearts of the few.
Pray for the peace of
The vine will grow up in the midst of the
briars. The briars will seek to negate the source of nourishment, but they will
not accomplish their dreadful mission.
The few shall become strong and accomplish
much, but they will appear weak and vulnerable. The falling away shall not be
stopped by those who are now pretenders. They shall actually encourage the
deceptions.
Those who build their houses on tradition
shall go into outer darkness with their tradition. Those who build their houses
on self-will shall go into outer darkness with their self-will. However, those
who build their houses on Christ, and Christ alone, shall stand.
Pride shall prevent blind leaders from being
truthful with the many. The blindness of the many shall be taken away only by
the true Light.
When darkness has covered the earth, the
Light of the Son shall arise and shine forth. He shall put to shame the false
light which is no light at all.
