God’s Plan of Salvation
All verses taken from the New King James Version

Romans 3:23 tells us that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," so our sin is not in question. All have sinned!

However, Romans 5:8 says that "God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Christ died to free us from sin.

Romans 6:23 says that "the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." God does not want us to go into the Lake of Fire. That is why Christ died for our sins.

Outside of Christ Jesus there is no salvation---no redemption. Jesus is "the way, the truth, and the Life"! "No one comes to the Father except through Him"! (John 14:6)

Salvation is a matter of confession and belief. Romans 10:9 tells us that if we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in our heart that God has raised Him from the dead, we "will be saved."

Furthermore, Romans 10:13 says that "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

2 Corinthians 5:17 says that when we acknowledge Christ, we become "new" creations, the "old things" pass away, and all things "become new."

This new beginning is called being "born again."

In John 3:3, Jesus said that unless we are "born again" we "cannot see the kingdom of God."

And in John 3:7, Jesus said, "You must be born again."

By your act of trusting in Christ Jesus we are spiritually born again.

Hebrews 13:5 reassures us that when we trust Christ, He will "never leave" us nor "forsake" us.

As a child of God, you have everlasting Life!

John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

You may not feel like a new creation, but the just "live by faith" (Romans 1:17).
